You manage your dog's vaccinations in the **Identification & vaccines** tab of its record. For each vaccination, you provide a photo of the passport page and the expiry date; a dog health sheet can replace all these photos. For each race, the organiser checks these documents and validates or refuses them.

## What you need to provide

To take part in a race, you must provide your dog's identification (chip and date of birth) and a photo of each vaccination with its expiry date. The vaccinations a race requires are listed under **Vaccines required** on its event page.

There are two ways to do this:

- **The cyno-sanitary sheet** (preferred option): a single document, filled in and signed by your vet, that gives the identification and vaccination expiry dates for each of your dogs.
- **Photos of passport pages**: a photo of the relevant page for each piece of information or vaccination.

The screen's **Help** button explains these two methods and offers **Download cyno-health sheet model**.

## Open a dog's passport

1. Open the **Dogs** tab and tap your dog.
2. Tap the **Identification & vaccines** tab.

Each vaccination or document appears on a card. A card flagged as an error means a document is missing or a vaccination has expired:

- "Please note, the vaccine is missing, please add the passport photo and date."
- "Please note, this document is missing, please add the photo."
- "Please note, the vaccine is no longer valid, please update the passport photo and date."

## Add or replace a vaccination

1. On the vaccination card, tap **Take photo** (or **Edit photo** if there is already one).
2. Take the photo or choose an image or PDF, then crop it if needed.
3. An automatic analysis of the photo identifies the vaccinations on it. The check screen shows one line per vaccination with its expiry date.
4. Check each date. If a vaccination visible on the photo was not detected, tap "This vaccine is not on the photo. If it is, click here." and enter the date. Use the bin to delete a line that does not match.
5. If the date of birth or chip number read from the photo differs from the one in the record, choose the correct value.
6. Tap **Save** in the check window.
7. Tap the save button at the bottom right of the dog's record.

> **CAUTION**
A banner reminding you to save your changes stays on screen until the dog's record is saved. Without this last step, your photos and dates are not kept.

> **TIP**
The automatic analysis can make mistakes. Always check the dates suggested, and make sure you enter the **expiry date**, not the vaccination date.

## Use a dog health sheet

1. Have your vet fill in and sign the sheet.
2. In **Identification & vaccines**, tap **Add Cyno health card**.
3. Take a photo of the sheet, then check the dates suggested, as for a vaccination.
4. Save the dog's record.

When you register, some races also accept a single dog health sheet for all the dogs present on site: see [Register for a race](/en/docs/competitor/register/).

## Follow the organiser's checks

For each race, the organiser checks your dogs' documents. Follow the status in the **Registrations** tab: each dog appears as a coloured badge.

- Green: **Passport validated**, the organiser has validated the passport.
- Orange: **Passport not yet validated**, you need to wait.
- Red: **Passport refused or missing**. Tap the badge, then **Fix** to open the dog's **Identification & vaccines** tab directly.

## Common problems

**A message says documents are missing during registration.** The entry lists what is missing (**It's missing :**) for each dog. You can complete them now with **Correct**, or later from your profile, before entries close.

**The analysis did not recognise the date of birth.** The message "Your dog's date of birth could not be identified." appears: check the date of birth entered in the **Dog** tab.
