Club trainings on a map and races from across Europe
A new Trainings menu for clubs, a video on validating dog vaccines, and foreign races added to the calendar.
A “Trainings” menu for clubs
Canicompet now has a Trainings menu that lets clubs quickly and easily showcase their training sessions on a map. Looking for a place to train near you? Open the map and browse the published sessions.
The feature is new: depending on how clubs take it up, it may be extended, for example with notifications when a training session is created or one-click sign-up. Your feedback is welcome through the contact form.
Validating dog vaccines: a video guide
A video for organizers explains how to validate dogs’ vaccines. It joins the “Tutoriels Canicompet.com” YouTube playlist, which already covers creating a user account and registering for a race. The same topic is covered in the documentation: validating documents.
Canicross has no borders
Foreign races are starting to be imported into the Canicompet calendar to give them European visibility. Sometimes the nearest race is just across the border, and the language barrier should no longer be an obstacle.
An organizer can “claim” their race at any time, either simply to correct any mistakes or to manage it entirely on Canicompet and take registrations there. Bringing the different calendars together is a big job: if you spot a mistake, please report it through the contact form.
