Timing: pursuit mode, lap races and teams

RacesConnect Timing handles pursuit starts and lap-count races, and teams arrive on the registration platform.

After audio assistance and DNF/DSQ statuses, the free RacesConnect Timing software has received major updates.

Pursuit mode

In pursuit mode, the second day’s starts are given with the same gaps as the previous day’s results. RacesConnect Timing lets you set up these starts in a few clicks. A demonstration video is available on YouTube.

Timing a number of laps

Want to run a competition where the goal is to complete as many laps of a course as possible in a given time? RacesConnect Timing can now time it. Here too, a video shows how it works.

Team management

The registration platform and the timing software now handle teams: instead of a first and last name, the results show the team name. It is the ideal solution for timing your relays.

A training session dedicated to timing

Following the success of the training session on the registration platform, an online session dedicated to timing with RacesConnect Timing was organized for canicross, running and triathlon clubs.

The French canicross Grand Prix

Canicompet is a partner of the Grand Prix de France Canicross SCC 2025. The organizers use the Canicompet registration platform and RacesConnect timing, with a race timed in pursuit mode on the second day.

To get started: install the software, get the start lists and export to Canicompet.
