RacesConnect Timing gets richer, vaccine entry improved
Audio assistance, DNF/DSQ, batch printing and multi-day races in RacesConnect Timing; visible photo and cyno sheet only for vaccines.
Online training session
An online training session was offered to canicross, running and triathlon clubs: how to use the registration platform, with a focus adapted to the clubs attending, and the RacesConnect Timing software.
RacesConnect Timing
The RacesConnect Timing software has received several updates. Remember to download the latest version before your competitions.
- Audio assistance: the software reads out each bib number entered, adding an audible check of what you typed.
- DNF and DSQ statuses: right-click a competitor’s time to mark them DNF (did not finish) or DSQ (disqualified), with a matching display in the results.
- Simpler printing: print all the starts and results of the same day in one go, instead of race by race.
- Multi-day races: the bib, last name and first name columns stay visible when you scroll right to see the next day’s times. Setting up the second day’s starts from the first day’s times takes fewer clicks, which reduces errors and saves time.

Canicompet improvements
Helping organize a two-day race inspired two improvements:
- Vaccine entry: the document photo is now visible right on the entry screen, to avoid the mistakes seen with incorrect photos at recent races.
- Races with several dogs: organizers can ask only for a cyno-health sheet for races with two dogs or more, without listing each dog individually. A simpler approach already adopted by several clubs. See validating documents.
