Multi-person registrations, race site maps and online results

Several people on one registration, race site maps with GPX tracks, easier results publishing and a choice of how platform fees are charged.

Several people on one registration

Until now, a registration could include several dogs but only one human, which was a problem for relays (two humans, two dogs…). You can now attach several humans to a single registration. Each one has their own licence or medical certificate, which the organizer can check, as well as their own dogs and the dogs’ vaccines.

This is set up on the race category page: for example, you can create a “Canicross” category and add an extra human with a dog. See races and categories.

Results that are easier to publish

Many competitors like to look at the previous year’s results to get an idea of the times and how hard the course is. Publishing results online has been simplified, and organizers now receive a notification a few days after the competition to remind them to publish. Each competitor also has a public page, reachable from the list of registrants, showing their previous results.

The race site map and courses

You could already place the competition on the map. You can now define areas on it (parking, bib collection…), add the course tracks directly in GPX format, and mark important points such as water stations.

Fees included or added on top

Canicompet is free, unless you enable online payment for registrations: fees are then charged on each transaction. Until now, they were always included in the displayed price. A second option now lets you add them on top of the price, paid by the competitor. Details in Canicompet fees and on the pricing page.
