Nordic dogs: warnings to get your team ranked correctly
Canicompet flags unchecked nordic breeds and mixed teams, and asks whether the team is nordic when you use a cyno-health sheet.
A nordic team means every dog
A team is only ranked as nordic if all of its dogs are flagged as nordic. A single unchecked box in one dog’s profile could therefore put a team in the wrong ranking. Canicompet now helps you avoid that.
When saving a dog
If the breed you entered looks like a nordic breed but the “nordic” box is not checked, the app asks you when saving: is your dog nordic? Two answers are possible:
- Yes, it is nordic: the box is checked and the dog is saved;
- No, save as is: the dog is saved unchanged.
When registering
When registering with several dogs, if some are nordic and others are not, a warning tells you that your team will not be ranked as nordic. If it is an oversight, check the “nordic” box in the relevant dog’s profile.
With a cyno-health sheet
When a race category accepts the cyno-health sheet instead of the list of dogs, the registration contains no dogs, so it could never be ranked as nordic. Competitors now answer the question Are all your dogs nordic? when attaching the sheet.
