How do I register for a race?

To register, open the event page, Register tab, and tap the race you want. Fill in the form (category, entry conditions, licence or certificate, dogs, fields requested by the organiser), tap the save button at the bottom right, then pay for your entry if the organiser offers online payment.

It is quicker if your profile already contains:

If you are not logged in, the app offers Log in or I don’t have an account. The second option opens the account creation form; once the account is created, you go back to your entry.

  1. On the event page, open the Register tab (or tap Register me).
  2. Tap the race you want.
  3. In Participant, check who is being registered. Change lets you register someone else: see Register someone else.
  4. Choose your Category. Only categories that match your age and sex are offered.
  5. In Registration conditions, read the commitments, then turn on I acknowledge.
  6. In License, select your licence, or choose I don’t have a license or Add my license. Also choose your Club if asked.
  7. If the Medical certificate or equivalent section appears, select a document or add one.
  8. In Dog(s), choose each dog from the list (Dog #1, Dog #2…).
  9. Fill in any extra sections (accompanying person, team name, team mates, organiser’s forms).
  10. Tap the save button at the bottom right.

The confirmation screen shows Your registration is taken into account. and a summary for each participant. If online payment is offered, tap Checkout registration: see Pay for your entry.

The licence and certificate do not stop you saving: you can provide them now or later from your profile, before entries close.

If you do not hold a licence, or if the organiser does not accept it as insurance, a supplement (day licence / ATP) is added automatically to your cart. Then turn on Not having a license, I agree to take a license for the day. If you add a licence later, the day licence is refunded.

The dog list offers your dogs, Add my dog and Search a dog (for a dog registered on someone else’s profile, by name or chip number).

If documents are missing for a dog, a box says so and lists what is missing (It’s missing :). Tap Correct to complete the passport; you then go back to your entry.

If some of your dogs are Nordic and others are not, a warning tells you that your team will not be classed as Nordic. If you simply forgot, tick the “Nordic” box in the dog’s record.

For some races with several dogs, the organiser accepts a single, up-to-date dog health sheet covering all the dogs present on site. The Dog(s) section then shows two tabs:

  • Dog health sheet: tap Capture or Upload (accepted formats: images, PDF), then answer Are all your dogs nordic?;
  • the dog list tab: select your dogs one by one.

The cyno-health sheet model link downloads the template for your vet to fill in.

Depending on the race, extra sections appear:

  • Team Name: required for team races.
  • Additional competitor #1, #2… (or a heading chosen by the organiser): for each team mate, tap Select competitor and search for the person. Choose Add a competitor without a user account to create a record for them. Then enter their licence, club, certificate and dogs.
  • Accompanying: for categories that allow or require it, turn on Add a person who will accompany the competitor on the race and fill in Last name, First name, Birthday and the Medical certificate / License proof.

The organiser can add their own questions: tick boxes (Select), drop-down lists, text, numbers, files to attach. Some options are paid: their price is shown in brackets and added to your cart. A paid option cannot be changed once the entry has been paid.
