Race categories limited to licensees of chosen federations

Organizers can restrict a race category to licensees of the federations they choose; the medical certificate is then no longer requested.

A new option in race category settings

Some race categories require a federation licence, in particular categories with two dogs or more, for which a licence from certain federations is mandatory. Organizers now have a dedicated option in the category settings: Only licensees of the following federations can register.

Once the option is enabled, pick the authorized federations from the list. Only competitors holding a valid licence from one of these federations can then register.

What changes for organizers

  • The option is enabled by default for categories with two dogs or more. You can turn it off or change the list of federations.
  • Since registration is limited to licensees, the medical certificate is never requested for these categories: the corresponding block disappears from the settings.

What changes for competitors

When registering, if the selected licence is not from an authorized federation, the registration cannot be submitted and a message explains why. If you have not added your licence yet, add it to your profile first, then resume the registration.

This avoids registrations that would have to be refused later, and competitors know right away whether they meet the conditions.
