Register a family member or manage family accounts

To register someone else, start an entry as usual, then tap Change next to the participant’s name. Choose the person in Your contacts, search for them, or create an account for them with New account. The accounts you create are then available from the Switch account menu.

Register another person

1. Open the event page, Register tab, and tap the race.
2. In Participant, tap Change.
3. The Register someone else screen appears. Choose:
   • a person from the Your contacts list;
   • Search someone else to find an existing account by name;
   • New account to create an account for the person.
4. The entry form opens in that person’s name. Fill it in as you would for yourself: see Register for a race.

Your contacts includes your own account, the accounts you have created and the people you have already registered.

Note

The category depends on the date of birth of the person being registered. If it is missing from their profile, the message “The date of birth of the person to register is missing from their profile” appears: it must be filled in before registering.

Create an account for a family member

1. On the Register someone else screen, tap New account.
2. Fill in the Create account form: email, password, first name, last name, sex, date of birth, country. See Create an account for details of the fields.
3. Tap the save button at the bottom right.
4. You go straight to that person’s entry form.

The person receives an email telling them that you created their account. They can log in themselves with the address and password you chose.

Team mate without an account

In a team or relay race, you can add a team mate who has no account: in the Additional competitor section, tap Select competitor, then Add a competitor without a user account. Only their personal details are needed (no password).

Switch between family accounts

If you have created accounts for family members, or if several accounts share your email and password, the menu shows Switch account.

1. Open the menu (top left).
2. Tap Switch account.
3. Tap the name of the account you want to use.

The app then shows that account’s profile: its dogs, licences, certificates and entries. Everything you add is saved to that account. To return to your own account, open the menu and tap Back to followed by your name.

Tip

To add a child’s licence, medical certificate or dogs, switch to their account with Switch account, then add the documents as you would for yourself.

Log in when several accounts share an email

When you log in, if several accounts match the same address and password, the app lists the accounts found. Tap the one you want to use. See Log in.

Common problems

The menu does not show “Switch account”. No other account is linked to yours: no account you created, and no account sharing the same email and password.

“You do not have access rights to access this registration.” You are logged in to an account that does not manage this entry. Switch to the right account with Switch account.

“Existing account”. An account with the same first name, last name and date of birth already exists for this person. Find it with Search someone else instead of creating a new one.
